How did we meet?

Well what we usually tell people is that we met skiing, but really it all started with and Instagram DM.

I posted a ski story

and he responded with “Ikon??” and the eyes emoji, and from there we planned a big friend ski day.

But then everyone canceled

besides us. So I decided to go up early to Brighton that Saturday just in case this guy was weird.

February 6th, 2021

we met up at Brighton and skied until close. We talked about family and missions and life philosophy, and it wasn’t until the end of the night when we were saying goodbye that he pulled down his ski mask and I was shocked to see a moustache.

I knew off the bat

not necessarily that we would get married, but that it could potentially be something special. I took a photo of the sky (because it was wayyyy to early to take a picture together) to remember the day.
